A question on the forum at Etsy that I could best illustrate with a picture

You can always let them air dry, but heat setting is fast, furious and helps make the ink permanent on fabrics. Heat gun on the right. A quick search found this one for 12.99 http://jackstoolshed.zoovy.com/product/40411?meta=FRG&utm_source=GBASE&utm_medium=CPC&utm_content=&utm_campaign=

You're awesome! Thanks!

Visuals are always the best, it's a scary thing starting this whole screen printing world and so easy to get discouraged, thanks for the tips!

No problem, this forum discussion on Etsy has inspired me to document the whole process in detail. I'm going to start working on it tonight. Check back for updates.

Hey - not to raise up a dead topic....but have you done any multi colored prints using the heat gun?

We printed our first shirts 2 nights ago and they came out pretty nice.

Anyway - the heat gun drying method....does that dry it good enough to do a multi print right then & there - does the heat gun blowing on the shirt effect the ink on the screen at all...cuase it's so close.

And even if you dry w/ a heat gun - you still have to cure it w/ an iron when it's all set...right?
How long do you iron for....speedball ink said 3-5 minutes, but it just felt excessive!
